The whole world of contemporary art

Europe’s only international trade fair for contemporary art focusing on Central and Eastern Europe takes place for the 7th time in 2011 and is attracting an ever increasing group of fans. This includes private and institutional art collectors, curators, museum directors, gallery owners, artists, critics and people generally interested in art.

Over the past 2555 days the VIENNAFAIR has also developed into an influential springboard for galleries and artists from Central and South-Eastern Europe looking for success in the international art world.

Over 120 renowned galleries from more than 20 countries have been selected by an international committee to showcase their contemporary art work in several areas of fine arts: painting, graphic art, sculpture, photography, media, installation and performance.

An attractive schedule of side events including panel discussions, fascinating museum presentations, art colleges, media and intriguing tours all contribute to make the VIENNAFAIR a great experience for every participant. Moreover, Vienna will be offering complementary opportunities such as access to museums and collections, gallery tours, viewing sessions, parties and top musical features.
